I ran a new version of my AR for Poets workshop yesterday at THATcamp on the Google campus. We had a good group of around 20-25 folks, with lots of very good questions; overall it seemed to be well-received. Unfortunately I encountered massive difficulties with network connectivity and discovering that this site was hacked, so I was unable to demonstrate as much of the actual AR creation experience as I had planned. We were able to get through a live demo of some location-based layers, a basic demo of creating POIs using BuildAR, and a live demo of Layar Vision using the Occupy George layer, so all was not lost.
